Knowing God means knowing His nature, knowing His character, hearing His voice, knowing who He is, knowing all about Him, knowing Him personally, and being known by Him. It means recognizing His presence and being aware of His nearness. It means knowing Him through His Word, through prayer, through experience, and through a deep, personal relationship.

Loving God means worshipping Him, adoring Him, setting your heart toward Him, and being for Him in every way possible—wanting all that He is and choosing Him above everything else and at all times. It also means loving the people that He loves, including those in need, those who are weak in spirit, and even those who oppose us.

Following God means walking in His ways and according to His righteous statutes, following His instructions and obeying His commands, being holy because He is holy, fearing Him, becoming like Him in nature, thought, and action, reflecting His image in every way, and fulfilling His great commission. It means telling people about Him, sharing your testimony, walking in faith for the call He has on your life, and going deeper into the things of the Spirit and the gifts of the Spirit.
